PinPoint’s AI-driven blood test for cancer completes NHS evaluation
PinPoint’s 5-year service evaluation in the NHS has completed recruitment. The evaluation saw 17,000 suspected cancer patients in West Yorkshire volunteer to have a PinPoint blood test.
Over 150 GP practices and five acute trusts in the region took part, bringing together a real-world dataset that shows the PinPoint test met all expectations in predicting cancer risk. Early results reveal that the test performed particularly strongly in predicting Upper Gastrointestinal and Gynaecological cancers.
Final results are still being collated but we expect to publish in early 2026.
