Guardian feature on PinPoint test

8th July 2026: PinPoint test for gynaecological cancers featured in the Guardian.

Women’s health front and centre

Following the publication of PinPoint’s evaluation results in Mayo Clinic Proceedings – Digital Health, the Guardian chose the gynaecological test to focus on for their readers. The Test was one of our top-performing algorithms – particularly in it’s ability to safely rule out cancer at an early stage. The Guardian focuses on the potential impact of reductions in invasive testing for women. Click here to read the article in full.

The data shows that PinPoint was able to safely rule out 1 in 5 women with symptoms of a gynaecological cancer. Why is rule-out so important? Because it delivers two major benefits. First, it will improve the experience of thousands of women for whom vague gynaecological symptoms are not cancer-related – no anxious waits, no invasive or painful tests. Second, it means specialist clinicians will have more time to focus on the patients that need urgent help.

The PinPoint Test evidence is now publicly available. We are working with partners to make the test available to the public by the end of 2026. We are also keen to work with partners outside the UK to see how PinPoint can make an impact for patients around the world.
